All terrain, all the time

The 2026 KTM 690 Enduro R continues its legacy as a formidable dual-sport machine (aka Big Enduro) with comprehensive updates. At its core is the latest Euro 5+ compliant LC4 engine, which now features a revised crankcase, clutch, and stator cover, along with a new oil system for improved reliability and enhanced performance.

For 2026, the Enduro R gains a new 4.2-inch full-color TFT display and redesigned switchgear. On the electronics side, riders will benefit from cornering ABS, cornering traction control, and the all-new “Dynamic Slip Adjust”, which is available in the optional Rally Ride Mode.

The new model also features sharper bodywork and updated suspension components to improve comfort and feedback on any terrain.

The supermoto benchmark

KTM is one of the few manufacturers to offer a production supermoto, and the 690 SMC R has long been the benchmark in its class. For 2026, the model has been further enhanced to maintain its leading position.

A new, aggressive design emphasizes KTM’s race-bred DNA, while the updated LC4 engine delivers increased performance and efficiency. Refined suspension tuning further enhances road feedback and agility.

Technology upgrades for the SMC R include a full-color 4.2-inch TFT display and upgraded switchgear. Riders now have access to lean-angle sensitive aids such as cornering ABS and cornering traction control. Selectable ride modes and customizable ABS modes allow for a tailored riding experience, while KTMConnect offers seamless smartphone connectivity.

Both models will be available at authorized KTM dealers starting in September 2025, alongside a full range of KTM PowerParts and KTM PowerWear to help riders personalize their machines and gear.
