Automatic 450CL-C AMT now in the PH
CFMOTO Philippines drew strong interest at this year’s Makina Moto Expo with the expansion of its lineup, highlighted by the debut of the “automatic” 450CL-C, which is now equipped with an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT). SRP: PHP 328,900.

Ride it like a scooter
According to CFMOTO, the 450CL-C AMT builds on the brand’s mid-size cruiser by introducing an automated manual transmission that enhances ease of use. Riders retain the feel and responsiveness of a 6-speed, twin-cylinder motorcycle, but without the need for a clutch lever or the risk of stalling.
Its new automated manual transmission offers two automatic riding modes and a manual mode, with gear changes controlled via +/- thumb levers on both sides of the handlebar. In automatic, the “D” mode is tuned for relaxed cruising, while “DS” delivers a sportier character with sharper throttle response and more aggressive shift timing.

Braking is made more intuitive, with the 450CL-C adopting a scooter-style setup by relocating the rear brake lever to where the clutch lever traditionally sits.
The 450CL-C AMT gets a suite of focused upgrades, including a larger 240 mm rear brake disc for stronger stopping power, redesigned buttons and paddles for improved ergonomics, and sharper, more tactile controls that make every input feel precise and confidence-inspiring.

While some purists may push back, especially on a cruiser, this innovation opens the door to a wider range of riders, making the experience more accessible for beginners and those less comfortable operating a motorcycle with a clutch.
