Aston Martin’s first road-legal motorcycle is a 130-bhp exotic machine

Aston Martin and Brough Superior have unveiled the AMB 002 Roadster, their first street-legal motorcycle and the latest model from their ongoing partnership.

Unlike the track-only AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro, the AMB 002 is designed for road use. Production will be limited to 300 motorcycles, with deliveries scheduled to begin in Q3 2027.

The AMB 002 combines Aston Martin’s design language with Brough Superior’s motorcycle engineering. Its carbon fiber bodywork features a compact, forward-biased design, while several details draw inspiration from Aston Martin’s road cars and hypercars.

The side strake has been integrated into the fairing and extends toward the headlamp, while the twin oval exhausts feature ribbed heat sinks inspired by the Vanquish, DB12 S, and DBX S. Blade-style rear lights are similar to those used on the Vulcan, Valkyrie, and Valhalla.

Marek Reichman, Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer of Aston Martin, said the company had long wanted to build a road-going motorcycle.

Having created two of the most remarkable track-only motorcycles ever built in the AMB 001 and AMB 001 Pro, it was always a long-term dream to make an Aston Martin motorcycle for the road.

Reichman added that the AMB 002 combines their bold design approach with engineering innovation, creating a motorcycle focused on sculptural styling, performance, and exclusivity. The companies said the roadster is aimed at riders and collectors looking for a distinctive motorcycle and a unique riding experience.

Power comes from a new 1,083cc liquid-cooled V-twin producing 130 bhp and 110 Nm of torque. The engine is designed and assembled at Brough Superior's headquarters in Toulouse, France, with CNC-machined billet engine cases.

The V-twin sits in a titanium backbone frame milled from a solid billet. The frame weighs 5 kilograms and helps achieve a claimed 50:50 weight distribution. Carbon fiber bodywork and the fuel tank help keep the center of gravity low, while total weight is rated at 190 kilograms.

Up front, the AMB 002 uses Brough Superior’s double-wishbone Fior fork, an evolution of the system used on the AMB 001 Pro. The setup separates steering and braking forces and is designed to improve stability during cornering and braking.

The AMB 002 was developed from the ground up without carry-over components. Each motorcycle will be hand-built, with initial orders now being accepted ahead of deliveries in Q3 2027, with a reported SRP of around USD 183,000 or roughly PHP 11.5 million.
