Bajaj updates the Pulsar NS400 with a 5-inch TFT, Google Maps mirroring
Bajaj Philippines has only recently brought the Pulsar NS400 to the local market as part of its lineup under TriMotors. Now, the model has received an electronics upgrade in its home market of India.
The updated Pulsar NS400Z was recently launched in India at Rs. 1.90 lakh, or roughly PHP 124,200. Meanwhile, in the Philippines, the Pulsar NS400 is currently priced at PHP 199,888. Bajaj Philippines introduced the model alongside the Dominar 400, RS200, N160, and N125 when it relaunched as a standalone motorcycle brand under TriMotors earlier this year.

The biggest change to the Indian-market NS400Z is its new 5-inch TFT instrument panel. It supports Google Maps mirroring, allowing navigation information to be displayed on the motorcycle’s screen. The system also provides music controls, call alerts, and smartphone notifications.
Riders can store selected vehicle documents through the connected system, while a lap timer has also been added. The TFT provides access to the motorcycle’s four riding modes and traction control. Bajaj has also added a USB Type-C charging port and Panic Brake Alert.
The mechanical package remains unchanged. The NS400Z continues to use a 349.13cc liquid-cooled, four-valve DOHC single-cylinder engine producing 40.6 PS at 9,000 rpm and 33.2 Nm at 7,500 rpm.

Power is sent to the rear wheel through a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle retains its bidirectional quickshifter, radial tires, dual-channel ABS, and 43 mm upside-down front fork.
The TFT-equipped version costs around Rs. 4,000 more than the previous model in India, and has also reached dealerships ahead of its official launch.
Bajaj Philippines has yet to announce if the updated TFT-equipped version will be introduced locally.
