Record 2024 sales for BMW Motorrad
In 2023, BMW Motorrad has set a record by selling 209,257 bikes around the world vs 202,895 units in 2022. In 2024, BMW Motorrad broke its own record again by successfully selling 210,408 bikes.

With the strongest sales result in company history, BMW Motorrad remarkably claims the 1st Place in the global Premium Motorcycle segment,” said Markus Flasch, head of BMW Motorrad.
BMW R 12 S
According to BMW Motorrad, its successful performance in 2024 was the convincing product portfolio, as well as the market introduction of sought-after new models, like the BMW M 1000 XR and S 1000 XR, the new GS models from the middle class BMW F 800 GS, F 900 GS and F 900 GS Adventure, the casual Heritage models BMW R 12 and R 12 NineT and leading the way, the adventure touring icons BMW R 1300 GS and GS Adventure with the legendary BMW Boxer Engine.
Europe is BMW’s strongest market for 2024, selling 118,727 units, followed by North America, South America and Asia.
