Pasay-bound portion of EDSA-Ortigas flyover to be closed for repairs
The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has announced that it will close the southbound lane of the EDSA-Ortigas flyover during the Holy Week holidays.
The EDSA-Ortigas flyover, which currently has 3 lanes, will be closed from 8 AM on April 6 (Thursday) until 11:59 PM on April 10 (Monday).

The rehabilitation works will involve major repairs on the southbound segment of the flyover to rectify the damages observed in its expansion joints. The flyover's rehabilitation work will provide an improved riding surface as well as strengthened structural integrity for motorists coming from Pasig City, Quezon City, and other areas.
The DPWH advised the motoring public to take alternative routes as the road closure may still cause some traffic delays even though the rehab works will be done on a holiday.
The DPWH also pledged to finish the rehab works on Monday, April 10 (holiday) so that the EDSA-Ortigas flyover can serve the hundreds of thousands of motorists plying this busy thoroughfare daily.
