CB1000F part of Honda’s 2026 lineup

Back in March, Honda teased fans with its concept CB1000F at the 2025 Osaka Motorcycle Show. CB1000F is a retro-inspired Universal Japanese Motorcycle (UJM) that combines classic styling with contemporary technology. Inspired by the legendary CB750F, the CB1000F honors Honda’s rich heritage while offering modern performance and everyday rideability. Honda now officially expands its CB lineup with the 2026 debut of the CB1000F.

The bike’s clean, swooping lines reflect the aesthetics of the 1980s, with a flowing tank-to-seat-to-rear-cowl profile, a single round headlamp, twin horns, bold tank graphics, and a ‘megaphone’-style exhaust. These retro touches are paired with modern engineering, offering riders both style and substance.

Power comes from a retuned CBR1000RR Fireblade engine, producing 124 PS at 9,000 rpm and 103 Nm of torque at 8,000 rpm. Revised camshafts and intake tuning deliver a broad powerband, smooth everyday performance, and a unique four-cylinder exhaust note.

The CB1000F also offers dynamic handling with 41mm Showa SFF-BP front forks and a Pro-Link rear suspension, complemented by four-piston radial-mount front brakes on 310mm discs. Safety and control are enhanced by a six-axis IMU with Cornering ABS and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) with integrated wheelie control, along with three pre-set riding modes and two customizable options.

Technology and convenience are front and center: a five-inch TFT display with Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity, along with Honda Smart Key operation, ensures modern usability without compromising the bike’s retro appeal. In a nod to sustainability, the rear fender and seat base use pre-consumer recycled polypropylene (PP).

Riders can personalize their CB1000F through Genuine Honda Accessories, offered individually or in Sports, Comfort, and Travel packs.

The CB1000F will be available in three new color options: Wolf Silver Metallic with Blue Stripe, Wolf Silver Metallic with Grey Stripe, and Graphite Black with Red Stripe.

With its blend of iconic design, refined performance, and modern technology, the Honda CB1000F represents a new chapter in Honda’s CB legacy, offering riders a perfect mix of style, nostalgia, and everyday practicality.
