The CRF1100L Africa Twin gets updated graphics and new color combinations for 2026
The 2026 Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin continues its legacy as a premier adventure motorcycle, now featuring updated graphics and new color options: Grand Prix Red, Matt Ballistic Black Metallic, and Pearl Glare White with HRC Tricolore accents. With a 1,084cc parallel-twin engine delivering 102 PS of power and 112 Nm of torque, the Africa Twin combines lightweight agility with robust off-road performance, building on nearly 40 years of the model’s heritage.
Two variants are available: the standard model with Showa coil spring suspension, and the Electronic Suspension (ES) model, which features Showa EERA with on-the-fly rear spring preload adjustment, heated grips, and an ACC charging socket. Both share a steel frame, CRF450R-inspired aluminium swingarm, long-travel suspension, and 21/18-inch tubeless wheels. A six-axis IMU manages Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), Cornering ABS, Wheelie Control, Rear Lift Control, and riding modes—URBAN, TOUR, GRAVEL, OFF-ROAD, and two customizable USER modes.
The 6.5-inch full-colour TFT touchscreen offers Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth connectivity, and access to the DCT’s cornering detection. Dual Clutch Transmission provides smooth, rapid shifts in Manual, Automatic D, or Sport S modes, with incline detection and G Switch traction control for off-road precision.
Comfort and practicality are enhanced by a slim, adjustable seat, high handlebars, a 5-way adjustable windscreen, dual LED DRLs, and standard cruise control. A full range of Genuine Honda Accessories, including Rally, Adventure, Urban, and Travel Packs, which allows riders to tailor the bike for off-road durability, long-range touring, or urban convenience.
Since its 2016 reintroduction, Honda claims that the Africa Twin has become a benchmark for big-bore adventure bikes, selling over 121,000 units across Europe and consistently ranking among the company’s top models above 125cc. The 2026 CRF1100L continues to combine rally-inspired styling, advanced electronics, and versatile performance for riders seeking a true on- and off-road adventure machine.
