Is the Triumph Scrambler 400 XC coming to the PH?
2026 is shaping up to be an exciting year for motorcycle riders in the Philippines, with a wave of new models set to arrive, particularly in the hotly contested entry-level big bike segment. Kicking things off this year is the latest addition to Triumph’s 400cc lineup: the Scrambler XC, a model that is poised to arrive in the PH soon, very soon.

Launched in India in May 2025, the Scrambler 400 XC positions itself as the more off-road-focused member of Triumph’s 400cc lineup. Its arrival builds on the strong momentum of the brand’s entry-level range in India, where reports indicate Triumph has already sold more than 3,000 units in 2025 alone.
Like the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X, the new Scrambler 400 XC is powered by Triumph’s 398cc TR-series single-cylinder engine, delivering 40 PS of power and 37.5 Nm of torque. The model appears to retain the same frame and suspension setup found on the Scrambler 400 X, ensuring a familiar balance of road comfort and light off-road capability.
Where the Scrambler 400 XC clearly sets itself apart is in its off-road-oriented updates. The most noticeable change is the switch to wire-spoke wheels with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear shod with dual-sport tubeless tires designed to handle mixed terrain. Staying true to classic scrambler cues, the XC also features a high-mounted front mudguard, a brushed aluminum skid plate, and protective engine bars on both sides, reinforcing its rugged, adventure-ready character.
PH availability and pricing
In India, the Scrambler 400 XC is priced at ₹2.94 lakh, or roughly PHP 207,000—excluding Philippine taxes and duties. For context, Triumph Philippines currently lists the Speed 400 at PHP 299,000 and the Scrambler 400 X at PHP 339,000.
While official local pricing is yet to be announced, the added off-road hardware and positioning suggest that the Scrambler 400 XC will likely land closer to the PHP 400,000 mark once it reaches Philippine showrooms. As for arrival, Triumph has yet to confirm a launch date, but all signs point to it happening sooner rather than later.
So if you held back on post-holiday splurges, this might be the bike worth saving up for, as the Scrambler 400 XC could be rolling into local dealerships before you know it.
