Kawasaki Plaza-Lucena by Jovas Multi Sales Corp. now open to serve you

For motorcycle enthusiasts in Southern Tagalog and Bicol, getting a big bike from an official showroom has often meant a long trip to Metro Manila. Depending on the starting point, the journey can take up to 12 hours.

That could now change with the opening of Kawasaki Plaza-Lucena, a new dealership in Lucena City.

Jovas Multi Sales Corporation officially opened the dealership on Saturday, September 26. The company describes it as the biggest Kawasaki showroom in CALABARZON and Bicol, and potentially one of the largest in the country.

Kawasaki Plaza-Lucena sits on a two-hectare property along Eco Tourism Road in Barangay Ilayang Talim. The 350-square-meter showroom can display up to 22 motorcycles, with more units possible depending on the layout.

Jovas CEO Luigi Sia said the decision to put the dealership in Lucena was both personal and practical.

Unang una sa lahat, Lucenahin tayo, kaya proud na proud tayo na dito natin itayo yung Kawasaki [Plaza] sa Lucena City. And at the same time, ito ay nasa gitna ng Bicol and Manila, that’s why marami tayong make-cater na customers [and enthusiasts] dito sa Lucena City.

(First of all, we’re from Lucena, so we’re very proud to build the Kawasaki [Plaza] here in Lucena City. At the same time, Lucena is located between Bicol and Manila, which is why we can cater to many customers and enthusiasts here in Lucena City.)

Sia said they chose Kawasaki not only for its rich history, but as well as its reputation for reliability and relatively accessible pricing in the big-bike segment. He also pointed to the brand’s engineering as another reason for choosing Kawasaki.

Besides motorcycle sales, Kawasaki Plaza-Lucena has a parts section, riding apparel, and other products for Kawasaki owners. The dealership also has a service bay for maintenance and other after-sales work.

With its doors now open between Metro Manila and Bicol, the new dealership gives Kawasaki owners and enthusiasts in the area a closer place to buy motorcycles, source parts and gear, and have their bikes serviced.
