2025 790 Adventure introduced by KTM
KTM is going back to the proven 790 Adventure for 2025, replacing the 890 Adventure that was introduced not too long ago. According to KTM, the 2025 Model Year 790 Adventure “has superseded the KTM 890 Adventure, taking its rightful place below the KTM 890 Adventure R as a more affordable, but extremely capable stablemate – with new suspension setting the bar even higher.”
What’s new
The 790 Adventure had already received a slew of updates from KTM this year (2024), with a reworked throttle body, enhanced combustion, and a new ‘knock control’ sensor that allowed the 790’s LC8c engine to burn lower octane fuel. The 2024 package also included a reworked slipper clutch, new friction plates and an improved airbox.
With all those upgrades received for the 2024 model year, the 2025 790 Adventure gets an improved suspension system, which according to KTM “taken directly from the KTM 890 Adventure parts bin.”
This “new” adjustable WP Apex suspension features 200 mm suspension travel with a rebound damping adjuster and a hand adjuster for the spring preload. This allows for easy alterations to the shock behavior in different riding situations.
Lastly, the 2025 KTM 790 Adventure comes with an exciting warranty extension offer. Owners can extend their warranty up to 4 years by servicing their bike at authorized KTM dealers. PH availability will be sometime in early 2025.
