14 new TNCs accredited by LTFRB
The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has announced that it accredited 14 new Transport Network Companies (TNCs), providing the public with more options and is seen to increase competition in the industry.
TNCs provide on-demand transportation services via smartphone applications (app) or web-based platforms.
“[The new TNCs] is in line with our mandate to ensure that the riding public continues to benefit from advancements in transportation services,” said LTFRB Chairman, Atty. Teofilo Guadiz III.
The 14 new TNCs that the agency accredited are PureRide Corporation, UNLA LA Corporation, Leggo Information Technology Solutions, Aztech Solution International Corp., Metrohills Transport Association Inc., Hail Transport Inc., Angkas Technologies, GoCab Corp., Unified Transport Operations League Corp., Peek Up Philippines Corporation, Get Express Global Corporation, Para Xpress Technology Services Inc., Taxsee Philippines Inc., and RL Soft Corporation.
“The LTFRB remains committed to its mission of ensuring a safe, efficient, and accessible public transportation system…We will continue to work closely with all accredited TNCs to monitor compliance with our regulations and to ensure that the riding public receives the highest quality of service,” added Guadiz.
