4 officials removed from position, says LTO

In an effort to better serve the Filipino people, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) has announced that it has removed 4 officials from their posts after failing the agency’s performance evaluation.

LTO Chief Assistant Secretary Atty. Vigor D. Mendoza II said replacements have already been designated for the vacated positions which are all located in LTO Region VI, or Western Visayas.

“Performance evaluation is a must and is a continuing process in the LTO in order to find [the] right personnel to occupy the right positions. This is a normal process that must be undertaken especially that President Marcos is pursuing excellence in government service under ‘Bagong Pilipinas’,” said Mendoza.

Those who were relieved from their posts in Iloilo, Antique, and Negros Occidental were found to be lacking in terms of compliance to improve the services of their respective offices.

“Let this serve as a constant reminder – a warning, that as servants of the Filipino people, we have obligations to fulfill and expectations to be met in order to ensure optimum services to our clients,” added Mendoza.

The LTO Chief also stressed that performance evaluation will continue for all offices across the country.
