2025 Moto Morini X-Cape now with a bigger 700 cc engine
Last year, we at MotoPinas.com had the pleasure of riding Moto Morini Philippines’ X-Cape 650 in the Cordillera Mountains. While it performed fairly in the mountains, the 649 cc engine doesn’t have enough pull on the highway, especially when you’re riding with guys on their T7s, 790s and 1200s.
For 2025 model year, Moto Morini updates the X-Cape with a bigger engine, now at 693 cc.
X-Cape 700
In this year’s EICMA, Moto Morini updates its best-selling bike to become the X-Cape 700. As mentioned above, the engine’s displacement was bumped to 693 cc from the previous 649 cc. The maximum power is now 71 ps, about 10 ps more than the outgoing model.
The frame is still the same as the outgoing model, sporting a steel semi-trellis chassis, which is complemented by an aluminum swingarm and an adjustable 50 mm Marzocchi fork.
The brakes are provided by Brembo and includes the option to disable ABS. As for its design, the bodywork has seen minimal changes but features new, more elegant liveries. A closer look reveals a redesigned windshield with an improved adjustment system.
The catalog includes three color options—white, red, and black, with the latter being the only one available with die cast alloy wheels. Otherwise, the bike typically comes with 19” front and 17” wire wheels fitted with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tires.
Standard equipment includes full LED lights , dual USB and USB-C ports, hand guards, and a 7” TFT screen with integrated navigation. The X-Cape 700 is expected to hit the market in March 2025.
