Superveloce Ago handed over to owner by Motostrada
Back in 2021, Italian motorcycle manufacturer, MV Agusta, announced that the company will produce 311 handcrafted Superveloce motorcycles to honor legendary rider, Giacomo “Ago” Agostini.
This limited-edition motorcycle represents Agostini’s 311 wins while riding for MV Agusta, while the first 15 units represent the legendary rider’s 15 World Titles. On May 24, 2024, 4 units of this rare motorcycle collection were showcased at Motostrada – the exclusive distributor of MV Agusta motorcycles here in the country – and 1 out of the first 15 units (#10) was handed over to its owner.
Unit #10
The unit #10, which was signed by Agostini himself, was handed over to Mr. Alfred Saban, a motorcycle enthusiast and an avid MV Agusta collector.
When asked by MotoPinas.com if he would ride this rare Superveloce Ago, Saban said that he will just display it in his home along with his other MV Agusta motorcycle collection.
This bike #10, one of the first 15 Superveloce Ago made, carries a price tag of PHP 3,000,000, while the other 3 bikes have an SRP of PHP 2,500,000 each. It is also worth noting that the Superveloce Ago #10 is 1 of 1 in the Philippines and 1 of 2 in the whole of Asia.
The MV Agusta Superveloce Ago features carbon fiber fairings, CNC machined components, specially-designed wire wheels, a top-spec Ohlins suspension system, special fuel cap that commemorates Agostini’s Grand Prix achievements, special racing kit and the list goes on.

Giacomo “Ago” Agostini is an Italian Grand Prix racer who started racing in the early 60s. Agostini dominated the 350cc World Championship from 1968 to 1974, and then the 500cc World Championship from 1966 to 1972, and 1975.
