Norton plans 200 dealerships worldwide as TVS ramps up global expansion

Norton Motorcycles is taking another big step in its revival under Indian automotive giant TVS Motor Company, this time with an ambitious plan to expand its global dealer network to more than 200 locations.

Alongside the expansion, the British marque unveiled a new showroom concept developed with renowned architecture firm Foster + Partners. This is the architecture firm behind iconic landmarks such as Apple Park, The Gherkin in London and Hong Kong International Airport’s Terminal 1, making it one of the world’s most renowned design studios.

More than just another motorcycle dealership, the new retail space is meant to deliver a premium customer experience that blends Norton’s heritage with a modern identity.

According to Norton, the showroom features a clean, contemporary design with dedicated areas where visitors can explore the brand’s history, motorcycles and accessories. The concept will be introduced as the company expands into key international markets.

Since TVS acquired Norton in 2020, the company has worked to rebuild the iconic British brand following years of financial and operational difficulties. Investments have gone into engineering, manufacturing and product development, laying the groundwork for an all-new lineup of motorcycles.

The next step is growing Norton’s retail presence. The company plans to establish more than 200 dealerships worldwide, with the initial rollout covering the United Kingdom, India, Germany, France, Italy, Spain and the United States. That would give Norton a much stronger foothold in many of the world’s biggest premium motorcycle markets.

The move also marks a shift from rebuilding the brand to expanding it. TVS has made no secret of its goal to restore Norton as a global premium motorcycle manufacturer, and a larger dealer network is expected to support future model launches and improve the brand’s reach.

The announcement comes as competition in the premium motorcycle segment continues to heat up, with European manufacturers pouring resources into new technologies, while Chinese brands are rapidly improving their products and expanding into overseas markets.

The Philippines isn’t part of Norton’s initial rollout, for now. Still, a planned network of more than 200 dealerships leaves the door open for the British brand to enter more markets in the years ahead.
