Flying Flea line of e-motorcycle introduced by Royal Enfield
Back in 2020, Royal Enfield has filed patents for two trademarks: the Roadster and the Flying Flea, the latter hinting the resurrection of the WWII-era motorcycles that were literally air-dropped by British forces behind enemy lines.
Now, Royal Enfield has finally revealed the Flying Flea’s resurrection and this time, it’s going to be fully electric.

Royal Enfield presented the Flying Flea e-bike – dubbed as the C6 – on the eve of this year’s EICMA in Italy and will be the Indian brand’s first-ever electric model to be mass-produced. Additionally, the Flying Flea will become Royal Enfield’s separate electric motorcycle brand, much like Harley-Davidson’s LiveWire, and is expected to come out sometime in 2026.
The C6 was inspired by the original Flying Flea and stays true to its simplicity and lightweight character but enough to intrigue its target generation of young, city-dwelling two-wheel riders.
“This is a significant step in our evolution as a brand and an opportunity for us to distill the essence of Royal Enfield DNA combined with all the great benefits of EV technology and bring something absolutely delightful and differentiated to the world of city-plus mobility,” said Siddhartha Lal, Managing Director of Eicher Motors – the parent company of Royal Enfield.
During the presentation, it was revealed that the C6’s Vehicle Control Unit was developed in-house. This unit is claimed to combine all the physical and digital aspects to fully utilize the bike’s full potential. The C6 can also notify you while you are away, if it’s been moved or “disturbed” from its parking space.
Royal Enfield also adds that the C6 is loaded with features found only on flagship motorcycles, like cornering ABS, cruise control, traction control and more.
