Touring-specific V-Strom introduced by Suzuki

Last October 2023, Suzuki introduced the road-biased version of the V-Strom 800 – the V-Strom 800 Tourer. Now, this tourer version of the brand’s middleweight adventure bike gets updated with luggage space. Lots of luggage space.

The “new” V-Strom 800RE is basically the same as the road-biased V-Strom 800 Tourer, but Suzuki decided to add 112 liters of luggage space: 37 liters in each of the side panniers and 38 liters in the top box.

Before, these cases are sold separately for an additional premium. Now, they come as standard on the V-Strom 800RE.

V-Strom power

Inspired by the flagship V-Strom 1050, the middleweight V-Strom 800RE is equipped with advanced features and is powered by a 776cc parallel-twin powerplant, TFT display, Bi-directional Quick Shifter, and modern inverted suspension.

Like its V-Strom 800DE sibling, the V-Strom 800RE also features the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.), 19-inch/18-inch cast alloy wheels and radial-mount brake calipers on the front brake, and tubeless tires on both front and rear are adapted to best suit the driving performance on paved roads.

It is also equipped with a height-adjustable windscreen that contributes to ease fatigue in long-distance riding, and a large 20-liter fuel tank that is suited for long-distance touring.
