Suzuki Big Ride Series kicks off in Bohol
Suzuki Philippines recently marked a significant milestone in the country’s motoring scene with its first Suzuki Big Ride of the year. The event brought together thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts from across the Visayas region for a combined celebration of road safety, community spirit, and Filipino riding culture.

The day began with a scenic convoy originating from Panglao Island, as Suzuki club members and solo riders traversed towards Tagbilaran City. The gathering not only showcased Suzuki’s latest motorcycle models but also reinforced the brand’s and its riders’ dedication to safe riding practices. The journey was energized by the presence of popular Suzuki motovloggers, including Reed Motovlog, Rendon Labador, Asian Pakboi Worldwide, BossBabe Anna Lhi, NEG x GELA, The Karlo Salonga Show, and Lhinneth Vlogs.
Riders later convened at the CPG Sports Complex for a program that included a crucial Safety Riding segment. Suzuki Safety Riding Specialist, Sherwin Florendo, led this session, emphasizing proper riding techniques and adherence to traffic laws, with active participation from the attendees. A highlight of the day was the awarding of a brand-new Suzuki V-STROM 250 SX to a lucky participant by Suzuki Philippines President, Koichiro Hirao, alongside DES Marketing President, Engr. Carl Ryan Lim.

Saulog Night Festivities
As evening fell, Suzuki, in partnership with DES Marketing, elevated the celebration with the Suzuki DES Marketing Saulog Night. Held in conjunction with Bohol’s local festivities, the event was hosted by DJ Tanya Chinita, a Suzuki Burgman owner. The evening was filled with interactive games and activities, with Suzuki riders and motovloggers engaging the crowd through challenges, giveaways, and sharing personal stories from their rides. This created an inclusive and lively atmosphere enjoyed by all.
The night culminated with performances by prominent OPM artists, including Zack Tabudlo, Al James, and Tropa Vibes. The musical acts drew an impressive crowd of over 50,000 attendees, illuminating the night with vibrant energy.
The overwhelming support from Suzuki riders, partners, and local communities contributed significantly to the success of both the ride and the Saulog Night. Suzuki Philippines stated that the event is part of its ongoing celebration of its 50th year in the Philippines, aiming to foster community through innovation and memorable experiences for riders.
