Suzuki PH and MPBL together again in 2024 season
Suzuki Philippines’ Motorcycle Division solidified its commitment to the growth of Philippine basketball through a renewed partnership with the Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) during a contract signing ceremony held at the Filoil EcoOil Centre on April 25, 2024. Through this collaboration, Suzuki Philippines aims to further connect with its passionate motorcycle customers who share the Filipinos' love for basketball.
The ceremony was graced by prominent figures from both parties, including MPBL Founder and Chairman, Senator Manny Pacquiao, MPBL Commissioner Kenneth Duremdes, MPBL CEO Joseph Paulo Ramos, and MPBL Legal Counsel Atty. Glenn Gacal. Representing Suzuki Philippines were President Koichiro Hirao, Division Head for MC Sales and Marketing, Joey Salavarria, and Marketing Manager/Asst. Div. Head for MC Sales and Marketing, Daigo Morikawa.
Suzuki Philippines will bring its scooters – the Suzuki Avenis and the Burgman Street to the games with special promos for those who want to purchase them. Adding more excitement, Suzuki continues its half-court shootout competition wherein three live audience will be trying their luck to shoot the ball to win a brand new Suzuki Avenis each game.
