New TF 450-X added by Triumph to its off-road stable
Triumph Motorcycles has stepped up its motocross campaign with the launch of the new TF 450-X. This model follows the TF 250-X, which the British manufacturer unveiled in 2023, a year after confirming its entry into off-road racing. The TF 450-X will be Triumph’s larger and more powerful motocross machine, designed to strengthen its presence in the MX segment.
This new machine arrives as a follow-up to the TF 450-RC special edition that marked Triumph’s debut in the 450cc class. For 2026, the TF 450-X adopts several updates first seen on the smaller TF 250-X, including a revised Exedy clutch hub with optimized lubrication and a Belleville Clutch Spring intended to improve durability and consistency in demanding race conditions. New engine mounts and a reworked gearbox selector star aim to refine chassis balance and gear engagement.
Performance remains a key talking point. The 449.5cc single-cylinder engine produces 62.4 PS at 9,500 rpm and 49.9 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. Combined with a wet weight of just 108.3 kg, Triumph claims the TF 450-X delivers the best power-to-weight ratio in the class. Suspension comes from KYB, with 48mm coil-spring forks and a fully adjustable piggyback shock tuned for stability and cornering grip.
The bike also carries high-spec components as standard, including Brembo brakes, D.I.D DirtStar wheels, and Pirelli MX32 tires. Electronics such as launch control, traction control, quickshifter, and dual engine maps add further competitiveness out of the box.
Visually, the TF 450-X introduces a new Performance Yellow graphics scheme for 2026. Price starts at GBP 9,995, or roughly PHP 775,000 (taxes and other PH duties not included). The model is now available at Triumph’s specialist motocross dealers, while Juan dela Cruz may have to wait for future announcements from Triumph Motorcycles Philippines.
