Triumph Motorcycles announces all-new Tiger Sport 800

Tiger Sport 800 available in 2025

It was in 2021 when Triumph Motorcycles unveiled its middleweight sport tourer, the Tiger Sport 660. The Tiger Sport 660 became available here in the PH in 2022. Now, the Hinckley-based manufacturer announces the arrival of Tiger Sport 660’s bigger brother – with more muscle and tech – the Tiger Sport 800.

The Tiger Sport 800 is a newly developed motorcycle by Triumph Motorcycles for the 2025 model year onwards. It boasts an all-new 800 cc three-cylinder engine that churns out 115 ps of power and 84 nm of torque. For comparison, Triumph’s 888 cc Tiger 850 Sport, which was launched last year, churns out 85 ps of power and 82 nm of torque.

According to Triumph, 90% of torque from this new 800 cc triple is available throughout the mid-range, peaking at 84 Nm at 8,500 rpm.

This new engine also boasts a 16,000-kilometer service interval.

The new Tiger Sport 800 also features a lightweight chassis, adjustable Showa suspension, radial brake calipers, aerodynamic bodywork; and roomy ergonomics for both rider and pillion for extended journeys on the road. Other standard features include riding modes, ride-by-wire, ABS, cornering ABS, traction control, cruise control, full-LED lighting, TFT panel with Bluetooth connectivity, adjustable windscreen, quickshifter, 18.6-liter fuel tank, and many more.

Triumph Motorcycles offers the new Tiger Sport 800 in colors: Sapphire Black, Graphite, Cosmic Yellow, and Caspian Blue – all with contrasting Sapphire Black elements. The Tiger Sport 800 will be arriving in dealerships starting March 2025, with Philippine deliveries and pricing to be announced shortly after.
