New suit for The Doctor's 46th birthday
The number 46 has become synonymous with Valentino Rossi, thanks to his legendary stint (and antics) in MotoGP. For his 46th birthday, Italian racing suit manufacturer, Dianese, has created the Soleluna Vale46 Anniversario racing leathers. This full leather suit will be complemented by the carbon fiber helmet Pista GP RR from AGV.
This special edition racing suit, with design inputs from The Doctor himself, features Rossi’s iconic trademark, the sun and moon, hence the “Soleluna” namesake. Black, gold, and neon green dominate the color palette, with the carbon AGV helmet also donning the black and gold color combi.
Only 46 examples of this special edition race gear will be produced, with the suit number 1 of 46 reserved for auction with the proceeds going to a charitable institution that will be named soon by Valentino Rossi and Dianese.
For collectors only
While this is a special edition race suit created to commemorate Valentino Rossi’s 46th birthday, Dianese specifies that it is unsuitable for use on an actual race (or trackday) and will only be sold as a collector’s item signed by Valentino Rossi. It will be available soon at select Dianese outlets and will be sold complete with a certificate of authenticity.
