3 stages GYTR kits for the Tenere 700 announced by Yamaha
Since its introduction in 2019, the Tenere 700 (T7) continues to be one of the best-selling bikes in Yamaha’s stable, especially for adventure riders who are seeking an unadulterated and pure adventure bike.
Of course, the T7 won’t be complete without the factory upgrades.
Just recently, Yamaha announced 3 stages of Genuine Yamaha Technology Racing (GYTR) upgrades for the T7.
Stage 1
The Stage 1 performance kit includes an Akarapovic full titanium exhaust system for increased grunt, lighter GYTR clutch cover, titanium footrests, optimized air filter case, GYTR air filter, and Stage 1 GYTR ECU for increased engine performance.
Stage 2
The Stage 2 kit focuses on the T7’s handling and stopping performance, thanks to bigger brake discs and upgraded Brembo master cylinder and hoses; lighter and tougher rims from HAAN, optimized-ratio chain and sprocket kit, GYTR Paioli rear shock absorber, and Stage 2 & 3 GYTR ECU.
Additionally, Stage 2 performance kit includes GYTR steering damper from SCOTT Racing, radiator guard, and high enduro fender.
Stage 3
The Stage 3 performance kit is inspired by the Dakar Rally. This includes high enduro fender, GYTR rally screen and LED headlight, GYTR handlebar kit, rally tower, rally-spec cockpit indicators, one-piece rally seat, carbon Kevlar skid plate and full GYTR graphics kit.
Stage 3 performance kit also include a larger front fuel tank, rear camelback tanks and fuel switch – increasing the total fuel capacity to 37.6 liters.
