Bimota unveils KB399 sportbike based on Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR

Bimota has unveiled the latest addition to its KB lineup, the Bimota KB399. Backed by its partnership with Kawasaki, the KB399 borrows heavily from the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4RR, including its frame and high-revving 399cc inline-four engine.

Converted pricing puts the new model at around PHP 804,000.

Pierluigi Marconi, COO of Bimota, said the KB399 reflects the brand’s passion-driven identity, adding that the new model aims to deliver an exclusive, distinctly Bimota riding experience for both loyal fans and a new generation of riders discovering its craftsmanship-focused motorcycles.

The Bimota KB399 packs premium hardware, including a 41mm Showa front fork and rear shock, an Akrapovič exhaust developed specifically for the bike, and Brembo Stylema calipers for stopping power.

For those wanting more exclusivity, the Edizione Speciale ups the ante with billet aluminum levers, adjustable rearsets, a carbon fairing, and an Öhlins STX46 rear shock in place of the standard Showa unit.

Bimota is also introducing a unique “order window” system, where buyers can place orders only during specific periods. The first window closes on April 3, with deliveries slated for October to November 2026. Pricing starts at GBP 10,099, or around PHP 804,000 for the standard model, while the Edizione Speciale is priced at GBP 14,699 or around PHP 1.17 million, excluding Philippine taxes and import duties.
