FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship will be riding the CFMOTO 675SR-R

CFMOTO will replace Yamaha as the exclusive motorcycle supplier for the FIM Women’s Circuit Racing World Championship (WorldWCR) starting in 2027, with the Chinese manufacturer’s 675SR-R sportbike set to become the official race bike for the next three seasons.

The agreement covers the 2027, 2028, and 2029 seasons. Yamaha has supplied the championship’s motorcycles since WorldWCR began in 2024, with competitors racing on the YZF-R7.

The switch will bring a new engine configuration to the grid, with CFMOTO 675SR-R’s 675cc, liquid-cooled, three-cylinder engine. According to the championship organizers, the new race bike will deliver around 15 hp more than the current machinery.

CFMOTO will supply the motorcycles and handle race-bike preparation, spare parts, and trackside technical support. WorldWCR will retain its one-make format, with all competitors racing identical motorcycles.

The 2027 season will also see Michelin become the championship’s exclusive tire supplier, marking another change for riders as they adapt to the new machinery.

The agreement marks the first time a Chinese motorcycle manufacturer has been selected as the exclusive supplier for an FIM World Championship-level one-make series. CFMOTO is already involved in Grand Prix racing through its partnership with the Aspar team in Moto2 and Moto3.
