CB1000 Hornet unveiled at Makina Moto Expo 2025

In October of last year, Honda revealed the 2025 CB1000 Hornet, a motorcycle that takes the exhilarating power of the CBR1000RR Fireblade and presents it in a striking naked bike configuration.

During last weekend’s Makina Moto Expo, with approximately 75,000 in attendance during its 3-day affair, Honda has unveiled the CB1000 Hornet to the Pinoy motorcycle enthusiast, all for an SRP of PHP 750,000.

According to Honda PH, the all-new Honda CB1000 Hornet is a motorcycle engineered for pure riding exhilaration, boasting a bold and aggressive design that hints at its potent capabilities. It delivers exhilarating acceleration and dynamic handling, making it the ideal choice for riders who demand both thrill and precise control.

At its heart lies a formidable 1,000cc liquid-cooled, DOHC, inline-four engine borrowed from the CBR1000RR Fireblade, producing 150 horsepower at 11,000 rpm and a responsive 104 nm of torque at 9,000 rpm. Paired with a precise 6-speed manual transmission and a wet, multiplate clutch, the 2025MY Hornet offers riders an engaging and adrenaline-fueled experience.

Its rigid diamond steel frame is coupled with high-performance Showa 41mm USD front forks and a premium Öhlins monoshock damper with a Pro-Link swingarm, which ensures stability and smooth handling across various riding conditions.

Other features include a 5-inch TFT screen with smartphone connectivity, Honda Ignition Security System (HISS) ABS, slipper clutch, and many more.

The new CB1000 Hornet will be available at Honda big bike showrooms nationwide starting this month.
