Gold Wing 50th Anniversary at Makina Moto Expo 2025
Introduced by Honda in 1974 (for the 1975 model year), the Gold Wing has evolved from a high-speed tourer featuring a flat-4 engine to its current status as the benchmark for luxury and comfort in the touring segment. At this year’s Makina Moto Expo, Honda PH proudly unveils to the Pinoy riders the Gold Wing 50th Anniversary edition, with an SRP of PHP 2,100,000.
Powering the Gold Wing is a sophisticated 1,833cc liquid-cooled flat-six engine, producing a robust 125 hp at 5,500 rpm and a substantial 170 nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. Designed for unparalleled touring comfort and convenience, the Gold Wing also features a user-friendly 7-inch TFT screen with integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, keeping riders connected and informed. Generous storage solutions abound with a 61-liter top case and 60-liter side cases, easily accommodating luggage for long hauls. The pillion rider enjoys a carefully considered and comfortable riding position, while the extended electrically adjustable screen allows for personalized wind protection.
Prioritizing safety, the Gold Wing is equipped with an airbag system and comprehensive all-LED lighting. The integrated Smartphone Link NAVI/Audio System provides seamless navigation and entertainment, complemented by Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) for added stability and an Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) for enhanced visibility during hard braking. The Gold Wing 50th Anniversary is available in Eternal Gold color scheme, while the standard variant, available in Digital Silver Metallic, has an SRP of PHP 2,050,000.
