Government docs might be revealing the coming of the 368G ADV scooter
Earlier this year, Zontes – a brand from the Chinese motorcycle maker Guandong Tayo Motorcycle Technology Co., Ltd – joined the adventure scooter bandwagon with its introduction of the 368G maxi-scooter.
Now, it seems that this ADV scooter is heading to our shores as recent government regulatory documents revealed a “400 cc motorcycle” in its list.
Another telltale info we got was that the applicant’s listed address was Caloocan City and it’s no secret that the Zontes brand will be making a comeback here in the country, courtesy of Bristol Group.
If this was indeed the 368G, this maxi-scooter would be going against Peugeot’s XP400, and even Bristol’s very own Maxie 400, boasting features such as a 368 cc, single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that is claimed to be capable of producing up to 38 hp and 40 Nm of torque; 17.5-liter fuel tank, USB ports, all-LED lighting, a pair of fog lights, optional crash bars, top box, panniers, and 198 kilograms weight.
The only question is, if this was indeed the 368G: how much?
