Kawasaki updates the KLX 230 with the new Sherpa edition
The KLX series has always been Kawasaki’s best-selling bike in the Philippines and abroad. For 2025-onwards, Kawasaki introduces the KLX 230 Sherpa – a dual-sport motorcycle that can be a joy to ride every day and at the same time can take you to your weekend adventure getaway.
New for 2025

The Sherpa is a slightly modified version of the KLX 230 dual-sport motorcycle. It is still powered by the same 232 cc, air-cooled EFI engine that churns out 18 ps of power and 19 nm of torque.
To add some adventure spirit to the stock KLX 230, Kawasaki added an aluminum skid plate, hand guards, and grab/pull handle on the front which is especially useful on the more technical sections of the trail.

Tipping the scales at only 134 kilograms, the KLX 230 Sherpa also features a new digital panel with Bluetooth connectivity, and switchable ABS.
The KLX 230 Sherpa will be available in Japan as a 2025 model with an SRP of JPY 638,000 or roughly PHP 241,000 (PH taxes and duties not included). Philippine availability and pricing will be announced soon by Kawasaki Motors Philippines Corporation.
