Versys receives updates for 2025
For many years, the Versys 1000 has remained as the flagship tourer for Kawasaki. It shares the same 1,043 cc engine with the Z 1000 and the Ninja 1000SX, but a bit toned down to make it just right for touring.
For the 2025 model year, Kawasaki gave the Versys an update and it now has a 56 cc bigger displacement than the outgoing model.
What’s new
For 2025-onwards, Kawasaki has updated the Versys with a larger 1,099 cc displacement, versus the 1,043 cc of the outgoing model. This also means that the new Versys 1100 is now more powerful, producing 133 Ps of power vs 118 Ps of the outgoing model.
Additionally, the new Versys 1100 has a refined quickshifter that, according to Kawasaki, would still function even in the lower minimum RPM. Kawasaki also equipped the Versys 1100 with adaptive suspension, voice-controlled Rideology The App, cornering lights, KTRC, and many more.
Availability and pricing
The new Versys 1100 will be offered in Metallic Graphite Grey and Metallic Diablo. For the US market, the Versys 1100 has an SRP of USD 19,499 – roughly PHP 1,099,000 (PH taxes and duties not included). Showroom availability will be in late November or December 2024 (US).
