RSV4 Factory SE-09 SBK unveiled to the public
Celebrating the RSV4’s first-ever victory at the Superbike World Championship in 2009, Aprilia presents the limited-edition RSV4 Factory SE-09 SBK, with an SRP of EUR 26,499 or roughly PHP 1.6 million (PH taxes and other duties not included).
It was July 26, 2009, when Max Biaggi won the first unforgettable victory for the Aprilia RSV4 in the Superbike World Championship on the Brno circuit. It was the start of one of the most successful sporting stories ever for a single model in the most important series-derived championship in the world, with an extraordinary haul of 7 world titles (3 Drivers and 4 Manufacturers), 44 victories, and 102 podiums.
Today, Aprilia celebrates that historic day by re-proposing the iconic livery symbol of the sensational racing debut of the RSV4 on the spearheads of the V4 range: the RSV4 Factory superbike, as well as the hypernaked Tuono V4 Factory.
In this special version, RSV4 Factory and Tuono V4 Factory are standard equipped with carbon front brake vents and a carbon front mudguard, with the progressive numbering of the model appearing on the tank.
These special edition and numbered SE-09 SBK bikes were revealed to the public for the first time during the MotoGP Grand Prix of the Americas in Austin, Texas.
It was the official Aprilia Racing riders, Aleix Espargaró and Maverick Viñales who inaugurated the RSV4 Factory and the Tuono V4 Factory SE-09 SBK special edition bikes.
The Aprilia V4 Factory SE-09 SBK is characterized by a livery dominated by black with the characteristic red and white details on the fairing, tip, tank, and tail, exactly like the RSV4 that amazed the world on its debut on the WSBK stage. A unique and unmistakable mix in its linear simplicity which brings to the mind of every passionate motorcyclist the Noale brand and its legendary sporting history.
As mentioned above, the Aprilia RSV4 Factory SE-09 SBK is offered at the price of EUR 26,499, on the other hand, the Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory SE-09 SBK will have an SRP of EUR 20,499 or roughly PHP 1.24 million. Both bikes will be available starting June 2024 in Aprilia dealers.
