Mondial debuts the Mud 452 at the 2024 EICMA
CFMOTO shocked the entire adventure riding community with its world premiere of the 450MT at the beautiful El Nido, Palawan. The 450MT may have inadvertently started what is now the 450 cc adventure bike segment, and companies are starting to develop their own versions, with BMW and its F 450 GS concept, and just recently, Moto Morini with its Allthrike 450. Other manufacturers are also following suit.
At this year’s EICMA, Mondial debuts the Mud 452 – which is practically a 450MT in a different clothing.
450MT underneath
The star of the F.B. Mondial stand at this year’s EICMA is the new Mud 452. It’s an off-road bike, designed to appeal to off-road enthusiasts, but also comfortable on-road routes.
This entry-level adventure bike is powered by the same 450 cc twin-cylinder engine found in the 450MT. Designed by Rodolfo Frascoli, who also designed the Piega 452, the Mud 452 features an exclusive look, enduro fender, and bodywork that flows seamlessly from the fairing to the tail, in perfect rally-raid style.
Like its 450MT sibling, the Mud 452 is equipped with a 17.5-liter fuel tank and range that is identical to its CFMOTO brother.
What separates it from the 450MT is the different plastics/fairings, USD fork, and graphics. The seat height is 890 mm, and the weight is 175 kg.
The Mud 452 will be available in select markets starting May 2025.
