According to LTO, its Chief, Atty. Vigor Mendoza II, will lead the agency’s license plate distribution efforts not at its East Avenue office, but at SM North EDSA. The plate distribution will be conducted at the 5th Floor parking area of the SM City North EDSA tomorrow, Friday, August 8, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM only.

The activity was coordinated with the local government unit of Quezon City, headed by Mayor Joy Belmonte, and in partnership with the SM management through LTO-NCR Director Roque Verzosa III.

Emphasizing the importance of collaboration, Mendoza stated that the distribution is “proof of swift action and service when the LTO and all sectors cooperate to quickly give the plates to their true owners.”

The agency is also currently conducting various plate distribution activities nationwide.

Mendoza said he also tasked all Regional Directors and District Office heads to coordinate with local government units, motorcycle rider groups, and even tricycle operators and drivers association (TODAs) in their respective areas to maximize the information dissemination and plate distribution process.
