Metzeler celebrates riders' victories in recent Isle of Man TT

Metzeler-equipped riders secured notable victories at the 2025 Isle of Man TT, with Davey Todd and Dean Harrison each earning wins in the 1000cc classes. The tire brand, serving as the event’s Official Tire Partner for the third consecutive year, reported a total of 14 podium finishes during the week of racing.

Dean Harrison, a Manx resident, achieved two wins in the Superstock class, in addition to three other podium finishes across the Superbike and Supersport categories. His performance began strongly during the opening Superbike qualifying session with a lap of 133.069 mi/h (214.15 km/h), noted as the fastest ever recorded on the first night of qualifying. Harrison controlled the first Superstock race, securing a win over Davey Todd and recording his fastest TT lap at 135.692 mi/h (218.37 km/h). He repeated this result in the second Superstock race. The final Senior race was canceled due to weather conditions.

Following recent successes at the North West 200 event, Davey Todd commenced his Isle of Man TT campaign with a Superbike win. He engaged in a race-long battle with Michael Dunlop, recording a lap of 135.327 mi/h (217.78 km/h). Todd is also noted for his Senior TT victory at last year's event.

Other Metzeler-equipped riders delivered notable performances. Nathan Harrison, returning from injury, joined the ‘130 Mile Per Hour Club’ and finished fourth in the Superbike class. In the Supertwin races, Metzeler-equipped riders on the podium included Paul Jordan, Dom Herbertson, and Rob Hodson, alongside Davey Todd.

Across all classes, a significant majority of the grid opted for Metzeler tires. Specifically, Racetec RR treaded tires were used in the Supertwin races, while Racetec RR Slicks were a popular choice for Superbike, Superstock, and Supersport competitors. Riders selected Metzeler for tire performance and durability, as well as for the dedicated technical support provided by the brand’s team in the paddock.

Beyond the racing, Metzeler engaged with fans through various activities. The Metzeler TT Village, a glamping area on the TT course, hosted rider nights. The Metzeler Shop offered tires from various biking segments and merchandise. Several Metzeler-supported riders, including John McGuinness, Dean Harrison, Davey Todd, Nathan Harrison, Paul Jordan, Dom Herbertson, and Mike Browne, visited the shop for autograph sessions and fan interactions.
