Ducati reports 50,895 motorcycles delivered in 2025
Ducati has reported that it closed 2025 with a total of 50,895 motorcycles delivered worldwide, marking a 7% decline from 54,495 units in 2024, as the global motorcycle market grappled with geopolitical tensions, macroeconomic pressures, and rising production costs, particularly in Europe.
The Italian manufacturer said the year was shaped by challenging conditions, including new commercial measures in key markets, fluctuating exchange rates, and regulatory transitions. Production was further affected by the temporary unavailability of the Monster, Hypermotard, and DesertX models as Ducati worked to comply with Euro 5+ emissions standards. These models are set to return to dealerships starting February, equipped with the brand’s new V2 engine.
Italy remained Ducati’s largest market in 2025 with 8,803 units delivered, despite an 8% decline. The United States followed with 7,268 units, posting a 4% increase, while Germany ranked third with 5,759 motorcycles delivered, down 12%. Among notable performers, Spain recorded a 15% increase, Austria rose by 14%, and Japan posted double-digit growth of 11%. China, however, saw a 31% decline, extending a downward trend from the previous year.
The Multistrada family emerged as Ducati’s best-selling range in 2025, with 13,873 units delivered globally. It was followed by the Panigale family with 10,606 units and the Scrambler lineup with 5,814 units.
The year also marked Ducati’s entry into the off-road segment with the launch of the Desmo450 MX, which went on sale in the final quarter of 2025. This expansion will continue in 2026 with the introduction of the Desmo450 Enduro and the Desmo250 MX.
Ducati enters 2026 with its widest lineup to date, featuring 12 new models, refreshed V2-powered motorcycles, and limited editions such as the Panigale V4 Márquez World Champion Replica. The brand is also celebrating its centenary from 1926 to 2026, with World Ducati Week scheduled for July 3 to 5 as a centerpiece of the celebrations.
On the racing front, Ducati capped 2025 with major successes, securing its fourth MotoGP Riders’ Title, a sixth consecutive Constructors’ Title, and its 21st Superbike Manufacturers’ Title, reinforcing its position at the forefront of global motorcycle competition.
