Marilao bridge repairs completed by NLEX
NLEX Corporation is pleased to announce that the repair works on the Marilao Interchange Bridge on the northbound portion of the expressway are now complete.
“We are pleased to announce that the major structural repairs on the Marilao Bridge have been completed as of midnight of June 23, 2025. All four lanes of the NLEX Marilao Northbound have since been passable to motorists,” said NLEX through a statement.
NLEX Corporation emphasized the rapid completion of repair work on the Marilao Bridge, which sustained damage on June 18, 2025. The incident involved a trailer that not only exceeded the height limit but was also able to bypass the tollway’s security at the Balintawak toll plaza.
This recent event is notably the second such occurrence for the bridge, following a severe impact from an oversized trailer in March 2025.
