Albie Espinola’s PH debut fuses art and Harley-Davidson culture
Filipino-British artist Albie Espinola marked his first official appearance in the Philippines with the “Albie Art Exhibition,” held on January 9 and 10, 2026, at the Wheeltek Harley-Davidson showroom in Cavite. The exhibition formed part of the newly launched “Brut Meets Art” series, an initiative designed to present contemporary artworks alongside iconic Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
Espinola, an avid Harley-Davidson rider himself, is known for combining his passion for motorcycling with visual art. He rides a customized Harley-Davidson Road King, which has accompanied him on multiple journeys across Europe, including rides through France after crossing the English Channel. Together with his wife, Holly, Espinola plans to continue exploring Europe on two wheels.

His artworks draw inspiration from his encounters with Harley-Davidson riders and their machines, capturing both the individuality of the riders and the mechanical character of the brand’s air-cooled V-twin engines. The Cavite exhibition featured a curated selection from Espinola’s growing body of work, with additional exhibitions scheduled in Dubai, London, and the United States.
The event was attended by family members and supporters, including Espinola’s sister, Helen Fernando, who traveled from Quezon City with her family to show support. Friends who visited on the second day of the exhibition expressed appreciation for both the artworks and the Harley-Davidson motorcycles on display.
Members of the Harley Owners Group (HOG) from Cavite, Laguna, and nearby areas also visited the exhibition, viewing Espinola’s pieces alongside the latest Harley-Davidson models, riding gear, and merchandise available at Wheeltek Harley-Davidson of Cavite.
Adding a modern technology element to the event, the showroom also featured DJI’s latest camera and drone offerings, including the Osmo Action 6 and Osmo 360°, which drew interest from visitors and media practitioners. The technology showcase complemented the broader celebration of creativity, mobility, and motorcycle culture.
Following the exhibition, Espinola and Holly took a short riding holiday aboard a 2025 Harley-Davidson Nightster 975 provided by Wheeltek. The couple documented their ride using DJI cameras before returning to London on January 12. Espinola is now preparing for his upcoming exhibition in Dubai and has expressed hopes of returning to the Philippines to further explore the country on a Harley-Davidson.
