Portions of Mindanao Ave in QC closed
Motorists who frequent Mindanao Avenue in Quezon City will have to bring with them tons of patience on their daily commute as portions of the said road is now closed until 2028. This is to give way for the construction works of the Metro Manila Subway Project.
“The Tandang Sora Station Box will be constructed beneath Mindanao Ave. To be able to do so, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has to divert traffic in both south and northbound directions,” said MMDA Chairman Atty. Don Artes.
According to the Department of Transportation (DOTr), motorists may use the newly constructed Northbound Diversion Road of Mindanao Avenue to give way to the construction of Tandang Sora Station of the Metro Manila Subway Project (MMSP).
Motorists may also take alternative routes or avoid the area to avoid traffic.
