New adventure bike from QJMOTOR coming to PH
Yesterday, we shared a story about QJMOTOR’s new middleweight adventure bike, the SVT 650 X, being tested at the grueling 2024 Silk Way Rally that will cross borders between Russia and Mongolia.
Now, the question is, will this be coming to the Philippines? Our friends from QJMOTOR Philippines say yes.
Andrew Sy, Vice President of Bristol Group – the company that distributes Bristol Motorcycles, QJMOTOR and Moto Morini in the country – shared with MotoPinas.com that the SVT 650 X will indeed arrive in the country, probably sometime in September or October this year.
As for the SRP, Andrew says that there is no definite price tag for the SVT 650 X at the moment, considering that there might be changes in the importation duties, peso-dollar exchange, etc. that might affect the final SRP, but they are looking at "below PHP 450,000".
The SVT 650 X is one of the new adventure bike offerings from QJMOTOR. This adventure bike is powered by a 650cc V-twin capable of producing 71 PS of power and 62 NM of torque. For comparison, Suzuki’s V-Strom 650, also with its V-twin engine, produces 66 PS of power and 60 NM of torque.
It has inverted forks, Brembo braking system, ABS, full LED lighting, and a large TFT screen with smartphone connectivity.
