Triumph’s new 400cc duo arrives in the Philippines this August 28
Staying true to its promise, Triumph Motorcycles Philippines will be launching two new models that will complement its 400cc lineup. These are the Tracker 400 and Thruxton 400, which are set to make their debut this Friday, August 28.
The two motorcycles give Triumph’s entry-level range very different personalities. The Tracker 400 brings a flat-track-inspired look, while the Thruxton 400 takes the café racer route with its low-slung handlebars, front fairing and classic styling.
Both use Triumph’s TR-Series single-cylinder engine, with the Thruxton 400 getting the latest and most powerful version of the engine, producing a claimed 42 PS.
The Tracker 400 was introduced in India earlier this year as the latest addition to Triumph’s 400cc family. It gets a dedicated chassis, flat handlebars, revised footpeg position and Pirelli MT60 RS tires, giving it a slightly different character from the existing Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X.
The Thruxton 400, meanwhile, is essentially the pocket-sized café racer that many Triumph fans have been waiting for. It first debuted in India in August 2025 and joins the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X as the third member of the 400cc family before the Tracker expands the lineup further.
Triumph Motorcycles Philippines had previously indicated that both models would arrive locally within its planned 400cc expansion, and the company has now set August 28 as the launch date. The brand has also teased special launch offers for customers looking to be among the first owners.
What remains to be revealed is the part most Philippine riders will be asking, and that’s “how much?”
