Suzuki Access 125 now in the Philippines
Scooters remain the top two-wheeled choice for Juan dela Cruz, commanding a growing 64% share of the motorcycle market. With this surge in popularity, manufacturers have been racing to capture Filipino riders with their latest scooter innovations. For Suzuki, that answer comes in the form of the Access 125.

The Suzuki Access 125 may be new to Filipino riders, but it’s far from a newcomer on the global stage. First produced by Suzuki’s Indian subsidiary in 2007, this well-loved scooter has earned its stripes in several international markets. Its debut in the Philippines, nearly 18 years later, marks a long-awaited arrival for one of Suzuki’s most proven models.
While it may share a familiar engine silhouette with the Burgman Street 125, Suzuki PH clarifies that the Access 125 is an entirely different machine. Powering it is a 124cc air-cooled, fuel-injected SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) engine—the same refined unit found in the Address 125, which also doubles as the Access 125’s counterpart in select international markets.

At first glance, the Suzuki Access 125 stands apart from the sharply styled modern scooters of today, embracing instead a timeless, classic design that never goes out of style. Beneath its exterior, however, lies a host of modern touches, like LED headlights and taillights, an engine kill switch, a USB-A charging socket, and convenient front storage pockets that blend vintage appeal with everyday practicality.
With a claimed fuel efficiency of 57.3 km/L, the Access 125’s 5.3-liter tank can theoretically deliver a range of around 304 kilometers on a single top-up. That’s enough to take you from Luneta all the way up to Camp John Hay in Baguio City, and still have some spare left to bring you close to San Juan, La Union.
Again, speaking of modern touches, the Suzuki Access 125 also comes in Ride Connect Edition, featuring a digital instrument panel with smartphone connectivity for added convenience and functionality. Practicality remains at the forefront with its spacious floorboard, dual utility hooks, anti-theft key lock, Combi-Brake System (CBS), and side-stand engine kill switch, among others.
Perhaps the most talked-about feature—at least among Filipino scooter enthusiasts—is the tail-mounted fuel cap. While it has sparked debate for its unconventional placement, Suzuki explains that this design actually enhances refueling convenience, eliminating the need to lift the seat or remove items from the floorboard.
Availability
The new Access 125 is now available in Suzuki dealerships nationwide, priced at PHP 84,900 for the Standard variant in Solid Ice Green, Pearl Grace White, and Metallic Matte Black. For riders seeking a more tech-forward experience, the Ride Connect Edition comes in Metallic Matte Stellar Blue with an SRP of PHP 93,900.
