Suzuki Big Bikers Celebrate 10th Anniversary

The Suzuki Big Bikers Club of the Philippines (SBB) recently celebrated its first decade of brotherhood. Around 70 Suzuki Big Bike riders gathered in the early morning of March 2 for a ride to the Thunderbird Resorts Poro Point in San Fernando La Union with a quick detour at Pinewoods Country Club in Baguio City.

It was a total of 285 kilometers ride with a good mix of freeway cruise and twisties that underscored Suzuki Big Bikes’ high performance with their power, performance, comfort, maneuverability, and control attesting why these riders have a very long relationship with their Suzukis.

Founded in 2014, SBB was established with then SBB President and now consultant Edwin Matthew Cua, in partnership with Roscoe Odulio, VP for Sales and Marketing of Wheeltek Motor Sales Corporation. This is alongside the dealer's first successful selling of big bikes in the country.

Suzuki has always been the first brand of motorcycle choice by the Wheeltek group and this celebration highlighted this deep relationship even more.

The event culminated at the beautiful Santorini of Asia – Thunderbird Resorts Poro Point veranda backdropped with the stunning La Union sunset where everyone enjoyed a feast over food and music. The event also saw photo slideshows documenting SBB’s 10 years on the road from their rides and activities locally and even abroad. The occasion also saw new sets of officers to carry on SBB's core values and advocacy headed by Joey Oriola as the new President, Marvin Chua Vice President, Mhae Javier, Suzuki Big Bikes Center Makati as Officer in Charge and Ronald Marcaida, Treasurer with Mr. Edwin Cua as Consultant.

Present during the induction of officers are Wheeltek’s VP for Sales and Marketing Roscoe Odulio, Regional Manager Elmer Olayo, Assistant Manager Allan Panlibuton, Suzuki Big Bikes Calasiao Branch Manager Joel Ellao, Suzuki Big Bikes San Fernando Teth Rayos Del Sol together with Suzuki Executives and Officers headed by Joey Salavarria, Division Head for Motorcycle Sales and Marketing, Big Bikes Group Head Roland Raymundo and Big Bikes Supervisor Mary Ann Garcia.

SBB is one of the biggest Suzuki Big Bikes clubs in the Philippines with over 100 members. The group has become instrumental to the growth and popularity of Suzuki Big Bikes in the country and has also helped in spreading awareness of safe riding and extending help through charity rides over the years.
