Suzuki showcased its latest models at Makina
Suzuki Philippines left a positive lasting impression at the recently concluded Makina Motoshow 2024, held at SMX Convention Center last April 26 to 28, 2024. The brand's dedicated Suzuki Hub attracted motorcycle enthusiasts with exciting product reveals, special guest appearances and a spotlight on their diverse line-up.

The whole of SMX Convention Center was filled with riders in uniform shirts cheering for Team Suzuki and the brand’s much-awaited Big Bikes – the GSX-8R and the GSX-S1000GX during the opening day of the Makina Motoshow with Big Bike Riders gracing their presence at the Suzuki Hub. The second day saw the re-launch of the Burgman Street Standard and EX variants with their new colors - Candy Summer Red and Metallic Matte Platinum Silver attended by over 500 riders in attendance. Lastly, the dominance of Suzuki’s Underbone line-up was celebrated with Suzuki’s passionate riders during the third day of the event.
Thrilling New Big Bikes took Center Stage

The excitement kicked off on the first day with the highly anticipated launch of two brand-new, powerful additions to the Suzuki family - the GSX-8R and the GSX-S1000GX. These big bikes cater to riders seeking performance and exhilaration in the city and even in the mountains setting a new standard of supremacy, generating significant buzz among motorcycle media, vloggers and big bike aficionados.
The Burgman Street Being the Ultimate Urban Riding Companion

The spotlight was on to the well-loved Burgman Street during Day 2 of the Makina Moto Show supported by over 500 Suzuki scooter riders. The ever-popular Burgman Street stole the show with the unveiling of two stunning new color options: Candy Summer Red (for Standard variant) and Metallic Matte Platinum Silver (for EX variant). These vibrant additions cater to riders who value style alongside functionality.
Suzuki Burgman Street owners - celebrity Chef Ylyt, volleyball player and actor John Vic De Guzman as well as motovlogger Reed Coralde joined the fun to highlight the affordable maxi scooter’s fuel economy rating which is the best among the 125cc scooters available in the market today. Other favorite features for them are the unbeatable riding comfort and the roomy under-seat compartment.
Suzuki Underbone Dominance
The final day focused on Suzuki's powerful Underbone segment – the Underbone King Raider R150 Fi, 2 Decades Unrivaled as well as the No. 1 Selling Underbone Leisure motorcycle Smash. Passionate Suzuki riders Karlo Salonga and Neg x Gela captivated the crowd with their expertise and infectious love for these agile machines. They also participated in games to the delight of booth visitors sharing their experience and love for their Suzuki bikes.

The Makina Moto Show 2024 proved to be a resounding success for Suzuki Philippines with almost 60,000 guests visiting the show. The brand's commitment to innovation, style and performance resonated with motorcycle enthusiasts, solidifying Suzuki's position as a leading force in the Philippine market. The event was also attended by Suzuki executives President Mr. Koichiro Hirao, Managing Director Mr. Norminio Mojica, Division Head for Motorcycle Sales and Marketing Division Mr. Joey Salavarria, After Sales General Manager Mr. Yukio Sato, Assistant to the Division Head and Marketing Department Head Mr. Daigo Morikawa as well as Big Bikes Group Head Mr. Roland Raymundo.
