Legendary DR-Z

The Suzuki DR-Z, a motorcycle with a proven track record since its debut in 2000, remains a very popular offering from Suzuki in the US. Its reliability and ruggedness have even made it a viable platform for military use, as demonstrated by the Australian Army’s adoption of a modified DR-Z400 for special operations.

At the prestigious 2024 EICMA motorcycle show in Italy, Suzuki unveiled the latest iterations of its iconic DR-Z series, the DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM. These updated models have been meticulously refined to meet the evolving demands of today’s motorcycle riders, incorporating modern technology and design enhancements while retaining the core versatility and reliability that the DR-Z is known for.

The DR-Z4S and DR-Z4SM are equipped with the proven 398cc single-cylinder, DOHC, dual ignition engine, coupled with a five-speed transmission and slipper clutch, providing 38 ps and 37 nm of torque. The curb weight is 151kg for the S and 154kg for the SM.
