Feb. 25 Trillion Peso March III to snarl EDSA traffic
The Quezon City government has announced partial and full road closures around the People Power Monument in anticipation of the “Trillion Peso March III” organized by Caritas Philippines and various civil society groups.
According to the Quezon City local government unit (LGU), roads expected to be affected include EDSA, Katipunan Avenue, Ortigas Avenue, White Plains Avenue, and Temple Drive.

As part of traffic management measures, a zipper lane scheme will be implemented along White Plains Avenue, between EDSA and Katipunan Avenue, from 9:00 p.m. on February 24 until 6:00 a.m. on February 25, 2026. White Plains Avenue will then be temporarily closed beginning 6:00 a.m. on February 25, the day of the rally.
Personnel from the Traffic and Transport Management Department (TTMD), the Department of Public Order and Safety (DPOS), Task Force Disiplina, the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will be deployed to manage the expected surge in traffic and ensure peace and order in the area.
Motorists are advised to take alternative routes, allow extra travel time, or postpone non-essential trips if possible.
