VinFast offers up to USD 60,000 to open e-motorcycle showrooms

VinFast is offering dealer partners up to USD 60,000 (around PHP 3.77 million) for every new electric motorcycle showroom they open in the Philippines and Indonesia, as the Vietnamese brand looks to expand its dealer network across Southeast Asia.

The incentive program covers new showrooms opened by December 31, 2026. The amount of support depends on the dealership’s size, floor area, and compliance with VinFast’s standards, with additional incentives available based on opening dates and the number of stores established.

Under the program, each qualifying showroom can receive up to USD 40,000 (around PHP 2.5 million) in basic support. Dealers that open by October 31, 2026, can qualify for an additional USD 5,000 (around PHP 314,000), while partners that open at least three stores can receive another USD 15,000 (about PHP 942,000) per location.

Combined, these incentives bring the maximum potential support to USD 60,000 per showroom. VinFast has not detailed the specific requirements for receiving the full amount beyond the conditions outlined in its announcement.

The company says the program is intended to help local businesses enter the electric motorcycle market while accelerating the expansion of its retail network. Support will cover showroom development, marketing strategies, staff training, and day-to-day dealership operations, including compliance with VinFast’s brand identity and customer service standards.

Dealers joining the network will initially offer the Evo, Feliz II, and Viper electric motorcycles, which use battery-swapping technology. VinFast will also provide access to its expanding service and warranty network, along with support for service workshops.

Vo Thi Cam Tu, managing director of VinFast E-Motorcycle Overseas Markets, said expanding the dealer network is key to the company's plan to build an electric motorcycle ecosystem in international markets.

Expanding our dealer network is an important part of VinFast's strategy to build an electric motorcycle ecosystem in international markets.

As of September 2026, VinFast had 63 electric motorcycle dealerships operating across the Philippines and Indonesia combined. The company aims to establish hundreds of stores across the two markets by the end of the year.
