9-time MX champion Antonio Cairoli rips the track onboard the Desmo450 MX
In late last year, Ducati teased fans with a video of their upcoming motocross (MX) bike – the Desmo450 MX.
In this latest video, Ducati test rider and 9-time MX champion, Antonio Cairoli, shows how the Desmo450 MX performs as he rips the dirt track.
Cairoli, who is part of the development team of the new Desmo450 MX, will also race the bike in the upcoming Italian Motocross Pro Prestige MX1 Championship along with Alessandro Lupino.
“[as part] of the ambassador of the project worldwide and also tester, I will develop the bike to be the best as possible. With my knowledge, [we’ll] try to make it the best bike possible,” says Cairoli.

While Ducati has yet to publish the Desmo450 MX's full specs and features (since this is still a prototype), based on the photos and videos, some of the obvious stuff revealed that the bike enjoys top-spec Showa suspension system, Brembo braking system, DID chain set, top-spec EXCEL rims, Akrapovic full exhaust system, Pirelli Scorpion MX tires and many more.
