Cardo Systems launch the Beyond Helmet at EICMA
Global rider-communications leader, Cardo Systems, has made a move into full-helmet engineering with its new Beyond series, with two models, the Beyond GT and Beyond GTS, packed with advanced safety and connectivity features.
MotoPinas.com received firsthand information from our friends at RideManila, who are currently on the ground at this year’s EICMA in Milan, Italy. RideManila is the official distributor of Cardo Systems products in the Philippines.
Helmet+comms+safety-in-one
According to Cardo Systems, the Beyond helmets combine integrated tech and premium materials: 53 mm JBL speakers, active noise cancellation (ANC) built for highway speeds, Crash Detection, a detachable battery, 2 km range intercom, Pinlock 200 anti-fog insert, and a built-in rear brake light on the GTS variant.
For Filipino riders who juggle daily commutes, weekend rides, and long-distance tours, the Cardo Beyond marks a significant leap forward. In a country where traffic noise, unpredictable weather, rider fatigue, and road safety are everyday challenges, features like the ANC and smart crash detection could prove game-changing. Riders are also likely to appreciate the extended intercom range and hands-free voice control, familiar conveniences for those already using the Cardo Packtalk.
One might wonder whether the new Cardo Beyond helmets are manufactured in-house by Cardo Systems. The answer: they’re not. According to multiple sources, the helmets are produced by the same top-tier OEM that manufactures helmets for leading brands such as AGV, Bell, Alpinestars, Fox, and KLIM, ensuring premium build quality and safety standards. On the design front, Cardo partnered with KISKA—yes, the same world-renowned design studio behind many of KTM and Husqvarna’s most iconic motorcycles, bringing a distinctive, performance-oriented aesthetic to the Beyond helmet.
On the pricing front, Cardo lists SRPs of EUR 949.00 for the GT and EUR 1,199.00 for the GTS, meaning a Philippine retail price might be in the range of PHP 60,000 to PHP 70,000 or more, once PH duties, taxes and local mark-ups are included.
