IPONE Motorcycle Oils launched at Makina Moto Expo

IPONE has officially entered the Philippine market, launching its full range of premium motorcycle engine oils during the 10th anniversary of the Makina Moto Expo at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

Known for its exclusive focus on two-wheelers, the French lubricant specialist aims to expand its footprint in one of Southeast Asia’s most active motorcycle markets, where scooters and underbone models dominate daily transportation. The brand brings with it a lineup of high-performance oils formulated using 100% Polyalphaolefin (PAO) and ester base oils—classified under Group 4 and Group 5—offering enhanced engine protection, improved efficiency, and consistent performance under demanding riding conditions.

Oils based from a blend of PAO and ester are premium, lab-engineered formulation that delivers excellent heat resistance, strong metal adhesion for better protection, smoother performance, and longer-lasting engine durability.

IPONE’s product range is organized using a unique system inspired by Japanese judo belts, providing riders with a clear guide to performance levels. At the top of the range is Shogun (Black Belt), designed for maximum protection in high-performance applications. Mid-tier offerings such as Samourai and Katana (Blue Belt) feature fully synthetic formulations, while R4000 (Green Belt) and 10.4 (Orange Belt) provide semi-synthetic options for everyday use. The M4 (Yellow Belt), meanwhile, serves as a mineral-based solution for basic lubrication needs.

The brand’s packaging also adopts a manga-inspired design, reinforcing its youthful and energetic identity. This visual approach complements IPONE’s global philosophy, “Ride with Attitude,” which emphasizes individuality and rider expression alongside performance.

According to company representatives, the Philippine launch reflects a strategic move to address the specific demands of local riders, from congested urban traffic to long-distance provincial travel. The formulations are engineered to maintain reliability and protection across varying conditions, ensuring consistent engine performance.

The unveiling at Makina Moto Expo gathered industry stakeholders, media, and motorcycle enthusiasts, with visitors given access to product displays, technical briefings, and interactive activities at the IPONE booth. The event also marked the brand’s first large-scale engagement with Filipino consumers and trade partners.

Founded in 1985 by Christian Roberty, IPONE has built a reputation for innovation and distinctive branding in the global motorcycle lubricant market. With its official debut in the Philippines, the company is positioning itself as a premium alternative for riders seeking both performance and character.
